Twilight saga star Taylor Lautner earned his photogenic body by training long hours - but those workouts weren't anything new for this always-athletic teenager. In an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, the young actor said that he never planned to be an actor: his passion was sports, including outdoor activities such as football and baseball.
When Taylor was six years old, he added martial arts to his interests, followed by high school basketball. Taylor says he worked out six days a week, as many as four hours a day on his fitness.
As a result, when challenged to get buff for his Twilight saga role, Taylor's new routine of daily workouts may seem daunting to some, but he took it on with gusto.
To prepare for New Moon, Taylor started working out the day after Twilight came out. And to fuel those werewolf workouts, he skips the fast food restaurants and follows a clean diet.
