Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan, the most famous movie star couple in the world, appeared on Oprah today, wherein the Bollywood actors talked about their wedding, marriage -- and even kissed onscreen on Oprah for the first time.

The duo flew 8,000 miles to come to the Oprah show, and stopped production on eight movies to be there.

Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan have 5 billion fans, and Aishwarya -- who's been called the most beautiful woman in the world -- gets $15 million per movies and has a bunch of endorsement deals including L'Oreal, said Oprah.

They live at home, with his parents.

The Oprah Show was the first time the married movie star couple has sat down for an interview together for a national TV interview.

How did Abhishek Bachchan propose marriage to Aishwarya Rai?

He told Oprah he was filming a movie in New York, and Bachchan used to stand on his balcony and wish he was married to her. So later he took Aishwarya to the very same balcony and asked her to marry him.

"Indian weddings are very festive," Bachchan told Oprah, as the crowd cheered, telling Oprah how they walked around the ceremonial fire seven times, the seven rounds representing the vows that they took.

"Both of you are living with your parents, right? How does that work?" Oprah asked.

Rai prompted Abhishek to "Go ahead say it."

"Do you live with your parents?" he asked Oprah. She said no. "How does that work?" he queried, which got lots of laughs.

It's just different traditions, they surmised.

I've heard you've never been kissed on camera, Oprah said...

"Go on Baby," Rai leaned over to Bachchan, who gave her a kiss on the cheek.

He explained that love scenes aren't necessary in India, and that they'd rather have a dance scene.

About having kids, Rai said people already report that she's pregnant, but she said it was just reporters hinting at her figure, perhaps.

They don't want the press focused on when they're having babies.

Abhishek is really funny; great sense of humor.

At the end, India's hottest couple gave Bollywood dancers a surprise.
