Hopefully you saw the story of this little kitty who was mercifully rescued from a 30-foot drain pipe by the ABC15 News Team. If you missed it, check out this dramatic rescue by a photojournalist armed with a small shopping basket.

Despite testing positive for FIV, the Humane Society agreed Sunday to return the cat to photojournalist Isaac Salazar who originally rescued him last week in hopes he could find the cat, who has since been named "Lucky", a home.

Unfortunately, Salazar cannot keep the kitty and is anxiously looking for a home.

"The incident stresses the importance of keeping indoor cats indoors and getting them immunized," Said Dr. Egar from the AZ Humane Society.

If you currently have FIV+ cats in your home, then Lucky would fit right in. And if you don't have other cats, but would like one, Lucky may just be perfect for you.

For more info: Contact the reporter who was on the rescue if you know of someone who can provide a home to Lucky. You can reach Tim Vescher at TVetscher@abc15.com.
