The Bed-In For World Peace, which was supposed to take place today (June 21) and commemorate the 40th anniversary of John and Yoko's bed-in, has been postponed due to heavy rains and flooding.

A press release on Yoko Ono's Imagine Peace website says the event will be re-scheduled.

Because of the heavy rains and flooding, the grounds of the Sheep Meadow where we were planning to hold the Commemorative Bed-In have been roped off. Due to these unexpected circumstances, we have decided to postpone the event to a later (dryer) date.

Yoko also announced the postponement on Twitter.
