Here's the latest word on the status of the deluxe Fireman set. We just received this from Adam Bates of Top Spin Media:

I had a chance to discuss this with artist management today and have a bit of information for you.  The delay in the package has been due to a couple of late edits to the design.  Paul has taken a lot of pride in the package and wanted to ensure it represented the highest quality work.

For example, the original packaging was to be a tin but is now a steel box.  This has impacted production scheduling and shipping sourcing dramatically as you might imagine, but we've been informed shipping shall occur the week of May 25th.  An email will go out to purchasers tonight with this same information.

One other piece of information - the package is a limited one, and it looks like the remaining units are going to be subject to a price increase that reflects the added cost of manufacturing after upgrades...a bit of an unexpected bonus for those that got in early.

Again, apologies for the long wait.  It looks like it's almost over for us fans though.

Best regards,

Adam Bates

The set is still available for order at http://www.thefiremanmusic.com/purchase. We're told that price will be going up to $99 within a day or two.
