Malia and Sasha Obama’s dad may be the most famous man in the world, but he’s definitely not the luckiest. These girls have it all, fame, popularity…and Hogwarts?
They’ve already been invited to hang out with Hannah Montana, they ran through the white house on a scavenger hunt that ended in an evening with the Jonas Brothers, and now, Daniel Radcliffe, star of the phenomenally popular movie series based on the Harry Potter books, has invited the girls on a tour of Hogwarts.
“I’d like to take this opportunity to issue a public invitation to the Obamas if their daughters would like a private tour of the Harry Potter set, I would be honored to be their personal tour guide” Radcliffe stated in an interview with The Daily Beast.
Sorry Hannah, but how do you top a tour of the most famous fictitious castle in the world?
Move over Mary Kate and Ashley, Malia and Sasha Obama are by far the most popular of all of the “first children” of the past. Every day, bloggers and talk show hosts excitedly talk about what they wore, who did their hair, their favorite things, and if they knew what they had for lunch, it would be a prime time special.The interesting thing to see will be how President and Michelle Obama keep them balanced in the midst of all the fame that surrounds the two little girls. We’ve seen it happen over and over again, kids who are famous and gave the world handed to them turning to the ‘dark side’ when that fame moves on to the next best thing. How do you maintain morals, family, and keep your kids grounded so they don’t end up in a naked cell phone picture scandal as teenagers?
I don’t envy the job ahead of President Obama, whether it’s putting our country back together, or keeping his family grounded. The country prays that his model for family will lead us into a future that mocks the past, where parents stay married, and kids grow up respecting adults.
