SEMO is good to go September 13-19.

“We’re ready,” said SEMO Fair board president Pete Poe.” We could start today if we had to.” The 8 day annual fair brings more people together than any other event in Southeast Missouri.

Admission:
Gate charge: all adult and all children 12 & over are $4.00 or buy a weekly pass for $25.
Hours: Saturday, Sept 12 and Sunday Sept 13, 11:00 a.m. - 10:30 p.m. (Carnival wristband Noon - 5:00, $20.)
Monday - Friday, Sept 14 - 18, 1:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. (Monday - Thursday, Carnival wristband 5:00 - 10:00, $17. and Friday Carnival wristband special Noon - 4:00 p.m., $10 for Kiddie Rides only.
Saturday, Sept. 19, 9:00 a.m.- 10:30 p.m. (Carnival wristband noon - 5:00, special $20)

All Grandstand entertainment is non-smoking. General public parking is free. Lowery Carnival Co. Inc. provides the carnival games, rides and some treats on the midway. On Sunday, September 13, 8:30a.m. there will be a church service at the fairgrounds in the activities tent with Pastor Mark Anderson of Lynnwood Baptist Church.

Free gate admission with the advance grandstand ticket purchase for Little Big Town, Joe Nichols or John Michael Montgomery. All performances start at 8:00 p.m. For tickets call 573-334-9250 or 1-800-455-FAIR. Contest rules, tickets, and general information about the fair are  on the web site at SEMO Fair.

The SEMO District Fair is organized solely by volunteers and is governed by a board of directors elected from its membership and appointments from both the Cape Chamber of Commerce and the Jackson Chamber. The Southeast Missouri District Fair is funded from the proceeds received from gate admissions, grandstand tickets, and would not be possible without the revenue received from sponsors.
