Halloween Happenings

Johnson’s Shut-Ins and St. Francois State Park proudly present the 15th Annual “Halloween Happenings.” In keeping with tradition, this event will feature ghoulishly and ghastly comedy during Halloween Vaudeville.

After the Vaudeville, you will be led on a hike to meet some creatures of the night. Activities will begin in the amphitheater in the campground. Children are encouraged to dress up in their Halloween costumes for the event. Bring a flashlight and dress for the weather. This event is fun for the whole family. The only thing scary about it will be the singing! The event is free and open to the public. Registration is required for the “Creatures of the Night” trail portion of the event.
