You may remember the Bridget Jones movies with Renee Zellweger. Bridget gained and lost weight for her roles as Bridget Jones. At 40 Renee doesn't lose weight as easily as she might have 10 years ago. Not only is it harder but it essentially becomes yo yo dieting which is hard on the body and makes it hard to be fit and active when one is trying to gain 30 pounds.
In 2004 she had a very hard time losing the weight and she was 35. Now it would be even harder.
Currently Renee is very thin. For the third in the series Renee won't be gaining weight. Instead she'll wear what is being called a fat suit.
