You may recall that our dear mess Amy Winehouse spent a good deal of time on the island of St. Lucia recently in hopes of sobering up and getting her act together.
Well, turns out Amy was doing more than just getting her act together. She was daydreaming about little St. Lucian bebes. That's right, the thrice rehabbed and totally out of control songstress thinks she's the next Angelina Jolie. Girlfriend wants to adopt. Would YOU entrust the woman at right with your children?
I think not! I wouldn't even let her babysit my cat.
According to OK! Magazine, the hard-partying force that is Amy Winehouse has plans to adopt a child from her new favorite vacation spot, St. Lucia.
Reports coming in from England reveal, "Amy is seriously thinking about adopting. But she is aware it's going to be incredibly difficult with her background. She has always wanted to be a mother. She loves St. Lucia and would move there for good in order to adopt."
What inspired Amy's adoption fever? Apparently the "Rehab" singer—who was spotted frolicking with several children in St. Lucia last week—is a big fan of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, and you know their whole deal. A spokesperson for Wine-O says, "Amy was talking about adopting in the context of looking after children on the island, perhaps through some kind of music and education-based project."
Good for Amy for deciding to help out, but is this really the best way? She knows babies aren't allowed in bars, right?
