After the recent deep freeze that has hit most of the United States for the last two weeks, a slow warm up is underway. With the warmer temperatures over the cooler ground, areas of freezing fog are developing over the Midwest making driving hazardous due to reduced visibilities of less then a quarter mile in some places during the morning drive to work.
BNVN videographer, Brandon Ivey, documented the foggy conditions around downtown Wichita, KS yesterday. The fog while making visibilities difficult for travelers had a more picturesque side as it covered many of the trees and fences in rime ice or hoar frost.
