Cargo cosmetics had unveiled two new weatherproof makeup products recently. The cosmetics company citing a consumer demand for more weather proof makeup, especially during the summer month.
A water resistant bronzer is termed a long-wearing makeup product that comes in medium bronze and works with most skin tones. The genius behind the weather proof bronzer is silicone coated talc which improves makeup adhesion but holds up under sweat and water.
Better-than-Waterproof Mascara has an advanced technology formula that creates a tube around each eyelash for dramatic lengthening similar to false eyelashes. To ward off eyelash damage that is caused by mascara use, vitamins B, C, E and F are included in the mascara formula to help ward-off dryness, breakage, and sun damage.
Better-Than-Waterproof Mascara is smudge, run, and melt-proof yet comes off completely when rinsing with warm water and a washcloth.
Remember that weatherproof does not mean waterproof. According to the FDA Cosmetic and Toiletries Division makeup, mineral makeup, cosmetics, or skin care cannot be labeled waterproof unless it has passed rigorous testing.
Summer is coming to an end, though weatherproof and waterproof makeup will be on the cosmetic shelves just in time for beach season. Makeup, cosmetics, and mineral makeup companies work all year formulating products to meet consumer demands. SPF in cosmetics is one of the number 1 concerns for a good reason, to keep skin healthy and looking it’s best.
Cargo Cosmetics has announced a parnership with Ulta.com the large beauty retailer to make more of it's cosmetic line available to the public. Ulta has over 300 US stores as well as their online cosmetic and makeup distribution web site.
