Troy Henry a businessman is in the New Orleans Mayor's race. He has a well known campaign manager and New Orleans native as his campaign manager, actor Wendell Pierce who will be starring in the HBO series Treme set to begin shooting this month. Wendell Pierce graduated from Benjamin Franklin High School right here in New Orleans.
An old class mate of mine at Benjamin Franklin, lawyer Dana Henry is Troy Henry's cousin and is helping out with his campaign. In terms of brain power this group looks like they are way out in front of other candidates, we'll have to see what John Georges can put together in terms of a well oiled campaign team, Georges ran for Governor against Bobby Jindal and came in third in that race.
