Using Social Media to profit from the July 4th holiday might seem like a far fetched idea and an impossibility but in fact, it is in some ways easier than other ideas involving social media.

Here are some great ideas you can use right away to profit from the July 4th holiday and social media.

1. Create a Squidoo lens around a July 4th theme.

I put together one on July 4th picnics.

2. Write a blog post around a July 4th theme. Get creative here. For example, if you are in network marketing you could talk about how thankful you are for the freedoms of the United States which allow you to have a network marketing business. If you are a banker, real estate, or other business professional then you could share how the July 4th holiday has impacted your business or if you are involved in any kind of business really, you could share your gratitude and thoughts about July 4th and what it means to you.

3. Create a Facebook ad using a July 4th theme. You could include red, white and blue pictures or flags, fireworks or a combination thereof to attract attention.

4. Have a Chirstmas in July sale and use the 4th of July holiday to attract attention to it. Advertise and promote your sale using social media.

5. Throw a July 4th party and use Twitter and Facebook events to invite your friends and followers to attend. This works especially well if you own a brick and motar business or you can reserve a restaurant or other business which is open for business on July 4th for your event.

6. Share your thoughts and feelings about the freedoms we enjoy, the founding fathers and other July 4th related topics on Twitter, Facebook, and Linkedin.

7. Create a July 4th themed page on your website and include free graphics, ecards and other July 4th themed information to offer value to your visitors.

8. Create a list of all of the local July 4th events and then share the information with your friends and followers.

9. Start a conversation on Twitter about why you are grateful for July 4th and then see what kinds of relationships you can develop which may lead to more business.

10. Think of ways to connect your products with the July 4th holiday and then make your audience on social media aware of your ideas.
