Below is a list of my Top 6 favorite weapons on the Xbox 360 console. Why six? I don't know, it's always been the number I've worn in organized sports for as long as I can remember. It's my lucky number, I guess. While I know that not all of these weapons and games are strictly on Xbox 360, the point is that they are there. If you're weapon isn't on the list, don't complain about it—this is just my opinion—just add what you would have in the comments section.

6. Flamethrower (Call of Duty: World at War) – This weapon is both fun and annoying at the same time. You know you've enjoyed camping in a corner of a dark map with the flamethrower, just waiting for a Nazi to run by so you can melt him away and get the achievement. Only problem is the gun has no range, so ya gotta be right up next to him. While the range sucks, the one shot kill makes up for it.

5. Brute Shot (Halo 3) – What's basically a grenade launcher with a high rate of fire, the Brute Shot became a must have in Halo 3's single player campaign to take out larger enemies or groups of smaller Grunts... especially if you were out of grenades. It also translated well in multiplayer mode. If you have good accuracy and wanna take out your opponent quickly from medium range, the Brute Shot was the way to go.

4. Pipe bomb (Left 4 Dead) – Why do zombies love high pitched “beeps?” I have no idea, but that's something we learned the first time we tested out the pipe bomb in Left 4 Dead. We all know the situation, you're playing an online campaign with the difficulty setting of expert. You're almost to the safe house when some idiot decides to jump on a random car, setting off the alarm. Luckily you were smart and saved a pipe bomb in case of this exact scenario. All the zombies head to the beeping noise, only to get blown to a pink mist, giving you enough time to escape.

3. M4A1 (Call of Duty 4) – By far the best assault rifle in any Call of Duty game, the M4A1 had it all. Low recoil, good reload speed, solid damage and great accuracy even with the ACOG scope. While some players might prefer the AK-47, I don't think there is any real debate. Plus, we all love using its n00b tube capabilities during Search and Destroy clan matches.

2. Energy Sword (Halo 3) – I thought about putting the Mauler here, but after thinking it through I went with with the weapon that is everyone's favorite and most hated at the same time, the Energy Sword. While it should be easy to use, the Energy Sword is all about timing, making sure your cross hair changes colors before you go in for the kill. If you swing to early, you'll lose about 3 seconds, leaving you vulnerable to just about anything. The Energy Sword is all fun and games until someone with a shotgun comes along for a little Bull True!

1. Gravity Gun (The Orange Box) – While it made its original way into the limelight on the PC, the Gravity Gun in the Half-Life 2 series is the most versatile weapon in video games. Want to cut a zombies head off in Ravenholm? Shoot a buzz saw at him. Want to back those annoying Ant Lions off you? Blow them up by shooting a gas can at them. Not only was the Gravity Gun a useful firearm, it was a great way to both solve “puzzles” and knock over the pesky machine gun turrets from a safe distance. The Gravity Gun did it all!
