Buddy Valastro is one of the most successful and renowned cake artists in the United States. Master baker of Carlo's Bake Shop located in Hoboken, New Jersey.

“Cake Boss” chronicles Buddy's overwhelming desire to achieve his late father's dream of making Carlo's Bake Shop a household name with or without the help of his family. Buddy unique style of supervising his shop makes for a notable reality TV show, but in the end mom is really “The Boss”.

"I'd say every day we get anywhere from 80 to 150 people coming in or calling the store,'' the "Cake Boss'' himself, Buddy Valastro, tells Hoboken Now. “We've had people come from Nova Scotia, Alabama, Texas and Okinawa, Japan. ... They've seen the show and now they want us to sign autographs. They want to taste the cakes or meet the family."
