Mario Difante is the founder and executive director of one of the most expected trade shows that cater the specialty pet stores in the eastern region, it is known as Pet Fashion Week.
Even with the economic recession, exhibitors were pleased with the attendance to their booths. Displays showed the latest products in the market that included organic toys and products made with materials to help the environment.
We met buyers from as far as Argentina, Brazil, Honduras and Dominican Republic. However, the stars of the show were the FIT students who had their creations and products in display.
Kris Lynch from Ruff Doggie Style , also instructor for the Pet product and Marketing Design ,had her own booth and shared with Sue Pillay and La Maison de Puppy, two of her most distinguish students.
The FIT school had it’s own booth were they displayed all the students work and some of the media were they have been featured.
