Yikes! Summer vacation is only days away and your kids are already talking about being bored. You need to get them into a summer camp before they end up being couch potatoes for the whole vacation. Is it too late to sign them up?

You'll be happy to know that there are plenty of day camps that are delighted to take last minute summer campers. There are also a few slots in some of the overnight camps in the area, too.

Day Camps

Lighthouse Christian Academy does not have a cut off date for its summer day camp program and will accept children after the program has started.

The Boys and Girls Club of Cecil County Summer Fun Club is accepting kids on a first come, first serve basis for its weekly program that starts June 22nd.

According to a recorded message, The Boys and Girls Club of Harford County is also still accepting children for pre-registration for weekly sessions in their Summer Fun Club starting June 15th.

The YMCA of Central Maryland allows campers to register until sessions are full.

 Overnight Camps

Sandy Hill Campgrounds in NorthEast, Maryland has several slots available for some age groups for both the one week and two week camp sessions. You can check the availability for sessions at the Sandy Hill website.

Camp Hashawha, which is an overnight camp through the YMCA fo Central Maryland, allows campers to register until sessions are full.
