ArtNow for Autism supports Autism Speaks

Art Now for Autism was founded by artist Claudine Intner when her son was diagnosed four years ago with Autism. She had participated in a walk for Autism Speaks and wanted to contribute in her own special way by selling her artwork and donating the money to Autism Speaks. The project grew from there into what it is now.

The 2009 Art Now Reverse Auction is coming up, on October 1 through October 10. You can donate small works of art or donate money to their cause by visiting their website. The auction will be held to coincide with the Walk Now for Autism Speaks to support Autism research. It is a nation-wide endeavor to help find a cause and cure of Autism. It has its roots in Maryland. To visit Art Now, click here.

There is also an "about autism" link on their site with some resource links that might prove useful.
