Everyone looks forward to fireworks and hot dogs on the fourth of July. This list describes the best places to be in Central Florida for the biggest celebration of the summer. Some events feature the night sky light displays that we all love, while others are daytime gatherings with food and family. Time to dive in!
#5: Red, White, Boom
Please don't confuse Red, White and Boom with Red, Hot and Boom. Red, White and Boom is scheduled to take place on July 4th at Space Coast Regional Airport in Titusville. The Titusville Area Chamber of Commerce and City of Titusville have joined together to present this spectacular fireworks extravaganza.
The festivities begin at 5 pm. Activities for the kids and food and drink will be available in large quantities. This 4th of July celebration is different from all the others in one big way... Expect a host of aircraft flyovers and plane displays to enjoy, thanks to Valiant Air Command. Before the fireworks start at 9 pm, the Space Coast Pops will perform the tradional summer type classics we all know and love. I can't wait for the 1812 Overture, myself!
Already have plans for the 4th? The Chamber of Commerce is also hosting a lemonade and ice cream social on July 3rd from 6 pm to 9 pm. The social will happen at the North Brevard Historical Museum. Organizers are still looking for antique collectors and those interested in period attire to participate and interact with the crowd. Plus, the museum will be offering free tours of the facilities.
Two free events in two days is worth the trip to Titusville!
