Tomorrow, Saturday, October 17, Dane Cook will be performing at the Sommet Center. He's stopping in on his ISolated INcident Global Thermo Comedy Tour. Over the summer he had over 390,000 fans come out to see him, so he's back for the fall with Phase 2. Joining him are comedians Robert Kelly and Al DelBene.

Dane is seen as one of the most prolific stand-up comedians today. He's also seen as a very charismatic and versatile actor, having been in several films.

Combining energetic physical comedy, clever wordplay and trenchant observations about human behavior, Cook's unique brand of stand-up and accessible guy-next-door attitude have galvanized audiences of all ages." -- DaneCook.com

Dane was raised in Arlington, MA and began his comedy career at the age of 18. He started out performing at college and comedy club circuits. He was even one of the first to create and keep up his own website, because he believed in connecting with fans on a personal level. His website receives over 500,000 hits a month and his MySpace has approximately 2,300,000 friends.

Dane Cook has multiple CDs and DVDs out containing his comedy, which are available for purchase by clicking here. He even has his own trademark, called the SUper FInger (SU-FI). SU-FI originated at the Laugh Factory in Hollywood and "was about having to be so pissed off at someone that giving them the finger just wouldn't be enough."

Here is Dane's story as to how the SU-FI came about:

Some time ago I was driving down Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood. To be honest I was driving way too fast because I was blasting Van Halen's 'Panama' and it was a f****** beautiful afternoon. This guy in a 1983 Ford Recall comes out of a side street without stopping, he sees me bombing straight at him and jams on his brakes, I do too and my car skids to a stop one inch from his s***box. He yells "Slow down!" I threw him a SUperFInger and just held it, as I turned to blast by him. He threw the SUperFInger back at me and laughed! It was really cool. Whoever you were s*** head driver, it was great to SU-FI with you. All is forgiven now." -- Dane Cook
