Police have finally caught up to convicted rapist, Anthony Sowell, after finding dead bodies in his Cleveland, Ohio home. Officers went to his home Thursday to arrest him on charges of felonious assault and rape but he was not at home. Instead of finding him, they found decomposing dead bodies.

Now, according to an Associated Press report, Sowell has been captured. He was found in his neighborhood walking down the street. When officers stopped him, he initially lied about his identity. However, once they began checking his fingerprints, he fessed up.

Officers believe that they have found a total of 6 bodies at the home of Sowell, though they are awaiting confirmation. The believe they may find even more.

At least two bodies have been identified as black females. One death has been ruled a homicide - the body reportedly showed signs of "a violent death."

Because Sowell was released from prison in 2005 after serving 15 years for a 1989 rape, officers are looking through missing person reports dating back to the time of his release.
