Adam Goldstein aka DJ AM of Crazy Town dies August 28, many will miss him, ie. Evergreen students

Obviously music is a major influence in college. Sometimes you have nothing to do except listen to music with friends. That’s why it noticeable when an iconic musical figure passes away.RIP D.J. AM he did good work

It doesn’t happen often that someone does that everyone will miss together, but obviously it does sometimes. And now another has left us.

Adam Michael Goldstein was an American club disc jockey better known as DJ AM. Goldstein was a member of the rock band Crazy Town, known for their hit "Butterfly". He has also scratched on albums for Papa Roach, Madonna, Will Smith, and Shifty and played concerts with Jay-Z. He has played private events for celebrities like Jim Carrey, Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Lopez, Ben Stiller, Leonardo DiCaprio, Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore, and Kate Hudson.

He even had had a one-year contract with Las Vegas' Pure Nightclub inside Caesar's Palace to play at the venue every Friday and opening a nightclub at Caesars Atlantic City called Dusk.

Among many so celebrity collaborations, he was also a co-owner of the popular club LAX and in 2009, DJ AM became Rain Nightclub's regular Friday night DJ.

But DJ AM was found dead at his New York City apartment at around 5:20 p.m. on Friday, August 28, 2009. He was 36 years old.

TMZ reported that friends called the police, who broke down the door and then found DJ AM's body. Sources say this may have been caused by the drug use. Statements by a New York law enforcement official to the Associated Press indicate that drug paraphernalia was found in the apartment, but no signs of foul play, that the drugs were any cause of the death.

So another great artist has left us. Rest in Peace.

Let's see the Hollywood "LOSERS" he personally played for took time out of their busy schedules to show up for his memorial service didn't they. So, many Hollywood stars are just garbage. Ben Stiller included! He has to do charity work to make himself look big, but can't show up for a memorial service down the road from where he lives. He makes me ill and I used to think alot of him as a person. I don't anymore. He's not as great as he puts on - so I guess he's just 3/4 show. DJ AM you will be missed rest in peace.
