Citizens across the nation are called to action on August 25th for Citizen's Effect CitizenGulf Project. in alignment with the fifth anniversary of Katrina, CitizenGulf's National Day of Action seeks to help fishing families affected by the BP oil spill find a new, more sustainable future by providing education resources for their children.
Show your philanthropic spirit and join fellow DC citizens at Busboys and Poets from 6:30 - 9:00PM for an impressive lineup of events. Citizen Effect's founder, Dan Morrison, will share stories of how CitizenGulf began and has inspired groups across the nation to come together in support of this great cause.
