I've waited five years for Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, John McVie and Mick Fleetwood to go on tour again and in a few months the waiting will be over. Fleetwood Mac will be on the road again beginning March 1st in Pittsburgh with their Unleashed tour, and will land here in the northwest on May 16th at the Tacoma Dome. Tickets went on sale today. The group wraps up the tour on May 31st in San Diego.
Once again, as with the last tour, Christine McVie will not be part of the band, but nevertheless, this tour is all about Fleetwood Mac's greatest hits. In a joint statement the superstars enthused "We love our band and think the title of the tour "UNLEASHED" perfectly describes how we all feel when we get on stage together -- especially in 2009. We're so happy to get back out on the road, perform everyone's favorite songs and see our fans."
The tour coincides with a re-release of 'Rumours' as a CD/DVD boxed set including tracks that were recorded when Rumours was originally made but were never released, as well as previously unreleased footage of the band on the DVD.

Indeed this is the concert event of the year! I am so looking forward to seeing these legendary rockers back on stage. I'm actually glad Sheryl Crow is not joining them in Christine's place. I'd rather have the core four without Christine than a substitute for her. Can't wait to see Unleashed and hope the band extends the tour for a third leg, too!
I completely agree! You can take 1 away and not suffer too terribly much, but you just can't add another player to the mix.
They can tour without Christine or without Lindsey, but there would be no tour without Stevie.
I beg to differ, i suppose that i have been used to Christine being away,and dont get me wrong i love some Stevie, But untill youve seen both her solo vs fleetwood mac.Its by far a better show, they feed off of each other.Lindsey rocks!

Stevie is amazing. Fleetwood Mac, even without Christine, is amazing. I'm jealous of your seat Lee and can't wait until they get here! Thanks for the update!
