Learn how to live well and be financially independent
Most of us spend a good part of our lives worrying about money----do we have enough, how can we make more, are we spending wisely, investing, saving?
The financial advisors at Altitude Financial Planning, a new financial services company in Big Bear Lake, CA see people with money difficulties every day. As a free service to the community, they have started a monthly financial book discussion group.
Meeting the fourth Wednesday of each month, the group teaches us how to manager our money more wisely. The idea is to raise our financial IQ in a friendly and supportive setting.
The group meets in the Big Bear Chamber of Commerce conference room at 630 Bartlett Road, in Big Bear Lake from noon until 1:00 pm----a productive lunch break.
The next meeting will be Wednesday, April 28. The group will be discussing the book, "Your Money or Your Life: 9 Steps to Transforming Your Relationship with Money and Achieving Financial Independence" by Vicki Robin & Joe Dominguez, the updated edition with Monique Tilford.
Even if you haven't had the opportunity to read the book, Sandra Senft and Lisa Patterson invite you to attend. Bring your sack lunch and spend an hour learning how to handle your money better. There is no cost to participate.
