Contemporary handbag line Treesje will introduce a captivating Fall 2010 collection of luxurious leather bags featuring bulbous studs, exotic and metallic leathers, covetable embellishments and imaginative silhouettes.
Designers Sheila Nazarian and Laura Darrah will also debut their first line of cuffs, belts and wallets, featuring stud embellishments on plush leathers that mirror the handbags’ unique aesthetic. Treesje has devised a collection that reintroduces such top-selling designs as the Asher, Jovi and Mortale with evolved detailing and reconfigured leathers, and unveils new styles that continue to capture their signature look of feminine edge meets street chic.

Inspired by its eponymous rock-n-roll muse, Joan Jett, the Jett styles set the tone for Treesje’s Fall 2010 collection. Bags include the mini Blackheart cross-body, light-weight Jett Hobo, Runaway tote and edgy Crimson double-zipper bag, all of which feature round bulbous studding on varying leather finishes that span exotic silver and timeless navy, berry and black, among others.

The Crave collection captures a lifestyle of functional meets fashionable -- where day-to-night dressing is a full time job. Including the large Crave carry-all, Covet and Envy totes in plush leather, Thirst purse and Chase cross body, these designs show off personal style with a twist of the traditional.

Treesje will introduce its refined new top-handle silhouette, the Cash, poised to become a Fall favorite. The sleek handbag is equal parts sophisticated professional, equal parts fashionista on-the-run.

The fall collection will also debut the brand’s first-ever line of fine leather cuffs, wrap bracelets, belts and wallets, featuring round bulbous, square cut and edgy diamond studding in various leather finishes.

The multi-toned leather cuff bracelets feature adjustable closures and are adorned with both round and square cut chrome and gold studding. Double and single banded styles feature mini bulbous, octagonal and square cut studs. Treesje's trio of studded belt styles continue the feminine edge effect of the cuffs with mirrored designs that finish an ensemble. The wallets are available in a supple leather, with or without chrome studding.
The Metro styles reinterpret their best-selling Asher and mini Metro Crossbody bags. The zipper hardware, folded leather detailing and chic tones, from smokey red to gray, bring new life to this brand favorite.

Treesje is often synonymous with the Jovi, an envelope-style, double-zipper cross body, which doubles as a clutch. The Jovi will return this fall in reimagined leather finishes, from bordeaux and platinum to an on-trend army green and rich navy, as well as revised stud detailing.

The Bare styles mark the return of the top-selling Revealed Satchel, a must-have carry-all that includes gold embellishments and subtle hardware. The special hues bring new life to this collection favorite. Fall will also include two cross-body Bare styles featuring fold-over flaps and zipper detailing.

Much to the delight of Treesje’s fiercely loyal fans of their oversized statement bags, the brand will reissue the Mortale and Fatal collection of on-trend skull-embossed leather totes and travel bags.

Lastly, the special group of Icon bags will introduce Treesje’s first stripe detailing through the Ace top-handle tote and Glory cross-body. It’s Strike purse with fold-over top and bottom panels add a downtown feel.

ABOUT THE DESIGNERS:
Weddings are always an ideal place to meet people, but in the case of California-based design duo Sheila Nazarian and Laura Darrah, the wedding of their mutual best friend in 2005 meant the beginning of their widely successfully contemporary handbag line, Treesje.

Treesje’s designs reflect the designers’ collaborative spirit as they couple two opposing, yet complimentary perspectives. Nazarian brings her street-chic, sophisticated style and love for hardware detailing to the designs, while Darrah expresses her free-spirited, beachy personal flair in the bags’ casual cool silhouettes.
