Many celebrities were in attendance including AnnaLynne McCord, Chantel Vansanten, Actresses Jessica Szohr, Michelle Trachenberg and Mena Suvari, Roxy Olin and Kelly Bensimon. Nigel Barker and Fern Mallis were also spotted.
Q: What can people expect for Fall 2010?
Jill Stuart: "What you saw on the runway today. A lot of knitwear and plaids and tailoring and draping and mixed prints and mixed siloutetts, mixed textures."
Q: How far in advanced do you start planning your line?
Jill Stuart: "About 5-6 months in advanced starting with the fabrics I go to premiere vision, thats where it all begins."
Q: Talk about the knits.
Jill Stuart: "I had a lot of fun with the knitwear. It was really really great to work with the scarves, the hats and the sweaters, and it all just came together and worked with all the prints and the tailoring mixed with the draping, and the scarves were really fun."
Q: I also saw some green plaids on the runway.
Jill Stuart: "I just was feeling going back to my roots, which is American Sportswear. My first collection was a kilt skirt that was in the movie "Clueless," and this time I wanted to do a modern kilt like I was thinking of mixing a tutu and a kilt and making it really girly."
Q: This is our last season at Bryant Park, how are you feeling about that?
Jill Stuart: "I am really on the fence about it. I really love this space, it's like home to me and I really don't know what I am going to do, this is like the most beautiful landmark in New York City and I am really on the fence, I haven't made up a deicion."
