Last night, Adrienne Bailon hosted the 'I Want Now' Fashion Show Benefiting Haiti Event at Meatpacking hotspot Tenjune. Guests including The City's Sammi Swetra and Freddie Facklemeyer were treated to a fashion show featuring America's Next Top Model winner Caridee English, who modeled Spring/Summer 2010 collections from Recession Denim, TORN, AZU and many more. Partygoers sipped on cocktails while danced the night away to beats by DJ Ian Boyd and enjoyed guest performances.

"I'm so excited about he event. You know I always try to get involved in things I am passionate about. I'm just super super excited about this," Adrienne Bailon said. Bailon's debut solo album will be out later this year and she will begin shooting her new film "I'm in Love with a Church Girl," also starring Ja Rule in May!

The event featured performances from R&B band Gotham City, up-and-coming rapper NSR and a drummer named Choclatte. Examiner.com had the chance to speak with some of the acts. "My name is NSR out of the Upper West Side, born and raised Manhattan. I got my start through my mother. When I was young, I wanted to buy Beck "Mellow Gold" and it was parental advisory and my mom was like I won't allow you to buy a parental advisory unless you play an instrument, so I started to play guitar and then I played guitar and performed and it just eventually developed into writing and spoken word and then into Hip-hop and growing up in New York and going to school into the city, you were just entrenched in Hip-hop."

NSR has just returned to NYC from Jamaica, where he performed with reggae act TOK. He performed his single "Adrien Brody" at Tenjune. Check out his free EP on www.iamnsr.com.

Choclatte treated the crowd to a sick drum performance. He is based in LA and New Jersey now, but he is originally from Harlem. Choclatte used to be a street performer and played plastic containers on 42nd street, then he started playing the drums outside of the Broadway shows, which led him to being hired to play on the band of Savion Glover's multiple Tony Award winning "Bring in 'da Noise, Bring in 'da Funk."

"I have a new album coming it out entitled "Drum Tantrums," it's basically an album that you have never heard before. It is a drumming and singing album." Choclatte has played with Lauren Hill on her album "The Miseducation of Lauren Hill." He has also worked with Alicia Keys, Anmerie, Melanie Fiona and Gregory Hines to name a few. This drummer says that his new album does feature some special cameos that he can't name yet, but his album will be a great pop/hip-hop/fusion album. He also sings on the album. "I'd just like to thank god for blessing me to being here and to do what I do," he said.

Michah Jesse was the official media sponsor of the event. "It's great to be here, they asked me to be the official media sponsor and  I was so glad to do it. I was able to video all the stars and interview them. I love being able to support charity, my dad just got back froom Haiti and participated in 40 surgeries." Micah's father, Dr. Barry A. Koffler, is an orthopedic surgeon. "He just said the resiliency of the people there was so amazing."
