Takoda is an Indian word which means “A Friend to All” And you will feel that atmosphere the minute you walk in the door of this new sports bar in South Parker CO.
It is located on the Corner of Hess and Parker Road up on the hill with a killer view of the gorgeous Rocky Mountains from Pikes Peak all the way through the front range and the nightlight views are almost as spectacular as the sunsets are.

They have 6 nice big screen TV’s and lots of Bronco Fan paraphernalia. The owner Bob has been a Parker local for about 20 years and comes to introduce himself right as guests are seated and can often be seen bartending, taking orders and bringing out drinks, whatever it takes to make customers feel important.
They also serve brunch with a Bloody Mary Bar and massive breakfast burrito's smothered in green chili, very tasty indeed. ( pictured below)

The Takoda Tavern Sports Bar has been open for eight months now but was anticipated by local Parker residents for about 18 months before that. The owners Bob & Nancy Nobles are residents of The Pinery, members of the country club and have been talking about opening this restaurant for years. They started the plans smack in the middle of the recession and struggled with the property owners to get the structure built, landscaped and up to code so that they could start making their dream a reality. Since the doors opened in October of 2009, their weekend traffic has been phenomenal with the week night traffic slowly building up. The food is basic bar food with a Mexican emphasis, they have nightly happy hour specials and live music Friday and Saturday nights.
