Free concerts in the park are a very popular attraction and the favorite spot in all of Parker to have a picnic and listen to some music is at O'Brien Park around the gazebo.
Starting in August, each Sunday afternoon will bring a new band for your entertainment. Bring your friends and family, bring your blanket or lawn chairs, pack a picnic lunch and go back to yesteryear with some old fashioned family fun.
This event started with a local Eagle Scout putting this together for his community project, and has remained as one of the Town of Parker's favorite summer tradition. This year the band sponsors are providing free ice cream treats and raffling off various prizes at intermission. The Parker Scientific and Cultural Commission thanks the Parker Day Spa, American Family Insurance and Extreme Auto.

Aug. 8 – Denver Municipal Band, with more than a century of tradition, this full 40-piece concert band has become a summer concert staple.
Aug. 15 – The Branders, with a vocally-driven, harmony-laden sound, this upbeat band will thrill the masses with variety of music from old school sweetness to cutting edge country.
Aug. 22 – Felonius Smith, playing blues music with a down-home sound, this phenomenal trio features smooth slide guitar, slappin’ upright bass, wailing harmonica and soulful vocals.
Aug. 29 – The Modniks, playing energetic Rock Music of the 60’s inspired by the British Invasion and California Sounds, this group will surely have you dancing and singing along.
