In case you haven't made it down to Mainstreet on a Sunday morning, you still have a few months to come on down and enjoy this wonderful farmers market headed up by Nanci Simmons of Franktown, Colorado.

This town favorite event will go through Labor Day each Sunday with over 80 booths full of locally grown produce, farm fresh dairy, grass fed meats, freshly baked bread, rolls, pastries, cookies, handcrafted soaps, clothing and accessories and several food related products.

You can also grab breakfast or lunch from one of the many ready-to-eat options at the market.
Look for coupons for the market each week in the Search Parker Magazine, a local publication.
The Parker Farmers Market is held every Sunday from Mother's Day through Labor Day from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. Mainstreet is closed to through traffic with booths all along the historic area. Don't worry, there's plenty of parking near the market, but get there early for the best selection. Make sure to stop by and get a green chili pork burrito from the "Burrito Lady" -- they are addicting. With the street closed to vehicle traffic, booths will line both sides of the street and down Victorian providing a true marketplace for all types of food. Many local shops and restaurants will also be open with Sunday morning specials. In addition, once a month on the 3rd Sunday there will be an additional event alongside the Farmers Market including the Parker CarFest, a chili cook-off, a bike show, antiques & collectibles, and the Smokin’ Brew BBQ competition put on by the local Rotary Club.
The Parker Downtown Development Council is a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to increase the quality of Parker’s historic downtown area.

the prices on the produce are very reasonable and the quality is great!!
I love Farmer's Markets. It is such a win-win to support the local growers, and when some of the money goes to support the historic district, it is really making a substantial investment in the community.
That produce is beautiful!
That produce looks amazing. I submitted this to Digg & StumblUpon so others can check it out.
I so love farmer's markets - that corn sure looks good, ours isn't in yet :(
The pretzels look delicious.
It looks so yummy and "home-towny" :)
