The Parker Chamber of Commerce is very active in the community and one of the very favorite events of summer has been the Parker Chamber Picture Show a free, family movie in the park event.
Bringing the oldies back to the days of the drive-in theater, and allowing us to share those fun times with our kids who have never heard of one, the Parker Chamber has created fun, free, outdoor movie in the park events that are a blast for everyone.
Show up early to get the best seats, bring your own food, blankets chairs and snacks or support the various fundraisers each week by purchasing your popcorn, pop and candy for a freakishly inexpensive rate of a buck a piece. Yes, just $1.00 buys you any of the snacks and answer trivia questions and get chances to win T-shirts, fun giveaways by the sponsors and just bragging rights among your neighbors or siblings.
Come to O'Brien Park at Parker Road and Mainstreet any time before dark for the best seats and to give you enough time to get your Baskin Robbins cone and popcorn for a buck!
