Studies have shown that when children are exposed to a foreign language at an early age, they can absorb the information better. The Parker Mainstreet Center is offering an opportunity for kids ages 4 to 6 to participate in just such a Spanish Enrichment® journey with a native Spanish speaking instructor.
The six-week class runs:
September 2 through October 7, 2010 &
October 14 through November 18, 2010.
Thursdays from 1- 1:45 p.m.

Comments
I think second language clases are great for children. They have to keep using it for it to stick, though.
I still can't log in to comment. This is Cindi. My granddaughter is growing up bilingual and I'm so excited by the fact that she will be able to learn and communicate better because of it. With the Hispanic population increasing in our country, she will be better prepared for employment in her adult years because she will know both Spanish and English.
