Almost everyone has said it.
Where did all this stuff come from?
Turns out, they even say that at the North Pole.
Mrs. Claus has concluded that there's not enough room for all Santa's leftover toys, so she and Santa decide to have a show on a shopping channel on TV.
It's part of interactive theatre, which gives the audience a chance to participate in the action. It’s not ‘up there’ on stage, it happens all around you.
The Mayhem & Mystery crew's latest work is “I’ll Be Home Shopping for Christmas,” playing most Mondays through New Year’s Eve at the Spaghetti Warehouse, 36 West 5th Street in downtown Dayton. (Read our review of the show.)
What can expect? Would you like the idea of holding the cue cards for Santa? Ask where the best place to sit would be when you arrive. But you can keep a low profile if you’d like, too.
This is the second show of their 10th anniversary season, and the 43rd original script written by Tamra and Jerry Francis.
The next performance is tonight (December 14th) and each Monday and Wednesday night through the end of the month.
There's also a special New Year's Eve performance on Thursday, December 31st.
Seating for dinner starts at 6:45pm, the show starts around 7pm. Tickets are $23.95 per person, reservations are required, and can be made at 937-461-3913.
