Exhibit Darfur is a photographic journey through the eyes of six notable artists and human rights activists: Mia Farrow, Aaron Cohen, Brian Steidle, Izabela Lundberg, Heidi McGiness and Carol Rinehart. This exhibit is used to build awareness of the plight of the people in Darfur, slavery in Sudan and preventing further genocide. The international exhibit was shown in April 2009 at the Dallas event Art for Darfur. Below is a photograph from the show by Mia Farrow entitled, "Women in Well".

Some of those photos are astonishing. The landscape is so barren adn devoid of absolutely anthing at all. There's no crops, no water, no hope.
So in a landscape so bare, no crops, no water, no hope--a hunger strike helps?
So if these anorexic starlets or former stars go on a hunger strike what exactly are they hoping to accomplish? I mean are they REALLLLY making a sincere statement by passing on a meal of 2 peas and half a carrot stick? And how exactly is wasting any food helpful to people who have none in the first place?
I hope all goes well for Mia Farrow. She's older now and a hunger strike could have lasting ill effects. It must be difficult to have met the people, witnessed first hand how they're living, and listened to their personal stories. I concentrated more on the Darfur problem in my article rather than her hunger strike.
