In a stunning announcement on their website Monday, country music superduo Brooks and Dunn revealed their plans to pack it all in with next year's "Last Rodeo" tour.
"The ride has been everything and more than we could ever have dreamed...We owe it all to you, the fans," the duo wrote in their announcement Monday. Plans call for Brooks and Dunn to release "#1s...and then some" on September 8th of this year, with "The Last Rodeo" Tour kicking off in 2010.
Since the release of the 1991 single "Brand New Man," Brooks and Dunn have released 10 studio albums and had countless #1 hits; they have taken home the Country Music Association's Duo of the Year award 14 times, and the same honor from the Academy of Country Music 16 times.
If you'd like one last chance to catch Brooks and Dunn before "The Last Rodeo," they'll be playing at the Erie County Fair on Sunday, August 16th at 7:30 p.m. in the Grandstand. General Admission seats are still available for $45 at the Fair box office, tickets.com outlets, and online at tickets.com.
