…music wasn’t about chicken noodle soup or stuntin’ like my daddy. I know I remember, and I know I’m not the only one. Well Bostonians, the band Kilroe is here to save our nights out- whether we’re by Faneuil Hall or out in Quincy.
I was taken by surprise one night at The Tap to find out the voice singing “Basket Case” was live on stage about 20 feet away. Made up of Kris Bishop, Rob O'Neill, Jeremy Rosenberger, and Mark Donatelli, these guys are promised to keep the crowd singing along and reminiscing about the old days of teen angst. Just some of a few in the set list are classics by Nirvana, Dishwalla, Smashing Pumpkins, Better Than Ezra and Pearl Jam. If you like a bit more up to date- don’t despair, they cover Kings of Leon and even Rihanna and Pink!

Sounds like they need to come perform in South FL, perhaps the Dubliner... sounds right up their alley! And maybe, hopefully I can catch them in boston!!!

I was out drinking with the boys one night and heard one of my favorite songs streaming over the crowd. I instantly plowed through the herd of bar cattle only to come upon a gold mine of musical talent and ability. It felt like Christmas morning, with just as much beer flowing around me as I remember as a kid. I recall my jaw hitting the floor, not being able to contain myself whilst bearing witness to 45 different shades of amazing. The day I become a millionaire here's the three things that will take place: Tell old man Pachiano off and start my own taxidermy business, relentless training to beat that punk Kobayashi, and pay Kilroe to rock me ever so gently to sleep every night. Rock on and long live Kilroe!
