More Bollywood movies are made from India that premiered to Toronto, and now a Canadian made and produced Bollywood movie with a Canadian casted movie called: English Butler Masala Chai. The story is about a girl who is about to marry an English boy. The byline is that the father have the genuine dislike of the English since childhood. The rest, you would have to watch the movie when it comes to your local theatres, which will be mentioned at the end of this post.
The filming of this movie took about less then two weeks to complete and consisting of all Canadian casts starring: Tara Joshi (CBC's Being Erica), Geoffrey Hymers (High School Musical: On Stage)
and Sachin Sharma (Bolly Double).
Over the years, watching movies from India with similar themes draws people back to the theaters for more of the genre. This would be true also of English Butler. The director, writer and also the producer, Maneesh Malhotra successfully developed rich characters in this movie that it is worth the hour an a half of this writer's viewing time.
This movie will be in the limited release starting in Toronto: AMC 24 Yonge & Dundas, Scarborough Coliseum, Silvercity Brampton, and Empire Studio 10 on April 30th. Check local theatres and official website for time listings.
