Now in a turn of events that seem to this writer to be retaliation, Pastor Juan B. Ferreras has received a notice from the Town of Cicero, Illinois that they have received a complaint about his residence and the City must inspect it. In the letter from the Building Commissioner Frank R. Zolp, the Pastor was told when his residence would be inspected and the time. No if’s, and’s or but’s, just cut and dried without even asking whether or not the time was convenient or even if he would be in town at that date and time. Simply put, Pastor Ferreras was told that he or his ‘authorized agent’ must be present.

The Town of Cicero, Ill (Google Map) lies about 10 miles to the West of Chicago. You can see by using this Google Map Link that Pastor Ferreras street looks quiet and very well kept. The homes there seem to be in good shape. What this writer is curious about is just what the so-called complaint consisted of (since the notice does not say) and does Pastor Ferreras have a right to know who filed the complaint? Again, to me it appears to be some kind of retaliation for the Federal Law Suit.
The Church does have legal council. However, at this time, it is not known if the same attorney is providing legal council for Pastor Ferreras.
Updates will appear as they occur.

I would scrutinize a permit for a church more heavily than one for a liquor store too!
Because it's far easier to revoke a permit for a liquor store - but Churches make you out like the devil if you ever want to get rid of 'em!
If god wants a liquor store instead of a church, who am I to argue?
Like I said, you're making ME out to be the devil, when it's clearly god's will that there be a liquor store in place of a church! Maybe the liquor store will serve some higher purpose?
Oh...I see. Sorry. No you are not the devil. But yes, I agree that the liquor store will serve a higher purpose: It will give the church more work to deal with, therefore validating the need for the church to remain there.
