Christian taxpayer's fed up with the Fed!

Idaho Governor C.L. "Butch" Otter

Knowing that both the Senate and House versions of Obama-care still have taxpayer funded abortion attached, one must ask, just what is on the horizon for America should Congress pass either of the bills and then be signed into law by a President who answers questions about his plan with even more questions.

Should the process of reconciliation be used, it would only increase the hatred of government (politicians) by the people who they are supposed to listen to.  Christians especially are in turmoil over Obama-care because of the abortion mandate and many of the other proposed provisions.  It must be noted  that Christians are also taxpayers and are told to stand against wrong in government (Acts 5:29).

As an example of how States and Christians within those states are fed up with the Federalization of States Rights, there is now at least one State that has taken the bull by the horns and is attempting to put Obama where he belongs, and that is out of their States business.

Idaho is the first State in a growing, nationwide fight against health care overhaul to take action.  Yesterday,  Idaho's Governor C.L. "Butch" Otter (R) became the first to sign into law a bill requiring the state attorney general to sue the Federal Government if residents are forced to buy health insurance, by the Fed's.  The fact is that 36 other states now have similar pending legislation that would attempt to circumvent any Federal mandate to purchase Health Insurance.  Virginia Legislators passed a bill similar to the Idaho bill, but it has not yet been signed into law by Virginia's Governor.

Some say that the power of the Fed exceeds any States rights!  Does it?  Hardly, the Constitution of the United States gives no authority to the Fed's over things like health care and the like.  Gov. Otter was quoted by the AP as saying that;

"The ivory tower folks will tell you, 'No, they're not going anywhere,' " he told reporters. "But I'll tell you what, you get 36 states, that's a critical mass. That's a constitutional mass."

About the same number of states currently have legislation in the works regarding gun sales, ammo and accessories.  This is another area where the Obama Administration is attempting to take rights away from the State's.  Recently Montana passed the Firearms Freedom Act  which protects and firearm, ammo or firearm accessories that are manufactured in Montana out of the Fed's reach.  Three other states have already taken Montana's lead, and many others have legislation in the works.

It's not only the secular world that is fed up with the Fed, it appears that it is also the Christian world.  All one needs to do is visit the Alliance Defense Fund, Pacific Justice Institute, the Center for Bio-ethical Reform and others.

    The only real solution is to put all these Fed dudes on the same health program they are trying to put us on and make it a non-profit system (like the other countries). But they don't have the courage to do that. They are all a bunch of geldings getting rich off the money from the lobbyists. We need to put some stallions in there next fall.
