Atheism Vs. Christianity: It's all about 'faith'

For some reason or another, Atheists feel that they need to beat you over the head with their view of creation, laws, the Bible, God, the Constitution and more. They consistently tell Christians that they are wrong! They simply must always be right! Atheists can’t see the forest for the trees. Now I’m not saying that they are dumb, but they do seem have an ill adjusted logic about ‘faith’.

Atheists, agnostics and other non-believers will always seem to quote science, scientists, NASA and others. That is a significant problem for Atheists. Science, scientists, NASA (a scientific organization funded by the U.S. Taxpayer) have been wrong on numerous occasions. Just look at how NASA has changed their view of global warming several times in the last few years. Science is not perfect, however the Bible is.

Using scientific theory to disprove the Bible is like using gasoline to put out a fire. The reverse of that would be using the Bible to prove the existence of UFO’s, it can’t be done! By using scientific theory to disprove the Bible and Christianity, they only create more questions for themselves, but they would never admit that.

The Bible is perfect because it is the divinely inspired, true and infallible word of God, not science. As an Evangelical Christian, the Bible is ‘the’ source of explanatory information about all of the things that the Atheist crowd attempts to debunk with scientific theory.

Now don’t get me wrong, there are many things that science, scientists and yes, even NASA have discovered which have helped mankind, but Atheists seem to have a mental block about the reality of the real truth about who is/was responsible for even their own individual existence. However, they are more than willing to put their trust in some guy named ‘Charlie’ Darwin who just happened to write a book titled “On the Origin of Species” or what is commonly knows as the Theory of Evolution 150 years ago this year.

Atheists have no problem putting their full trust in the fact that we all descended from a common ancestor, which is what Darwin’s book was really about. Even though there is no proof to this date, that he was correct 150 years ago, when labs and science were in their infancy; they (Atheists) ‘believe’ he was right, but just cannot ‘believe’ the Bible!

The Bible is filled with witnesses to the events described in it. Additionally, it is filled with witnesses to prophecy; both to prophecy as it was being fulfilled, as well as witnessing the Prophet giving the message, but Atheists are not willing to believe, it’s just a fairy tail to them.

Atheists for some reason believe that out of chaos comes order; i.e. the “Big Bang theory”, and that out of that chaos came the Universe as we know it. Logical folks understand that out of chaos comes even more chaos. All one has to do to see order in the Universe is to go the NASA’s Hubble Telescope Gallery web site and look at their space Gallery! It’s amazing. The beauty and order of God’s creation is overwhelming. Yes, that is one of the great accomplishments of NASA.

The understanding of true Christianity is something that Atheists will never grasp until that proverbial light comes on. Prayerfully, that proverbial light comes on in time!

You see, it’s all about FAITH, it’s not about science, scientists, evolution, Darwin, NASA or anything else; it’s about faith! If you’re an Atheist, you don’t have faith except that false faith you put in science. So you wouldn’t believe what you read in the Bible. However, a person who reads the Bible and has that faith, will always know the Bible to be accurate.

I truly believe that Atheists have good intentions, but they should remember this old saying; “The road to Hell is paved with good intentions”.

We’d never admit it, because that’s not what science is trying to do. Science is the study of NATURAL processes. God is a SUPERNATURAL concept.

Radiation. Look it up, Jake. I recommend the book “The Big Bang” by Simon Singh.

On 6 March, 2009, at a five-day Vatican conference on evolution Pope Benedict XVI affirmed that the world did not emerge out of chaos but was intentionally created by 'the First Being.' In his address, Benedict said there was 'no opposition between faith's understanding of creation and the evidence of the empirical sciences.' Pope John Paul II, whom Benedict quoted in his address, had said the following on 22 October 1996 to the Pontifical Academy of Sciences:

'In his encyclical Humani Generis (1950), my predecessor Pius XII has already affirmed that there is no conflict between evolution and the doctrine of the faith regarding man and his vocation, provided that we do not lose sight of certain fixed points ... Today, more than a half- century after the appearance of that encyclical, some new findings lead us toward the recognition of evolution as more than a hypothesis. In fact it is remarkable that this theory has had progressively greater influence on the spirit of researchers, f

"The Bible is perfect because it is the divinely inspired, true and infallible word of God, not science."

So if the Bible says that insects have only four legs and that you can breed animals with stripes by putting sticks in their watering trough, it must be true. And if the Bible says two things that are contradictory, they must both be infallibly true.

"For some reason or another, Atheists feel that they need to beat you over the head with their view of creation, laws, the Bible, God, the Constitution and more."

Do you think that maybe this could be because some Christians, in violation of the Constitution, attempt to use the power of government to force their religious views on others?

    Hi Jake! :)
When those scientists go to school for 8 years, what is it exactly that you believe they're learning? I don't think simple faith-based repeats of their conclusions would take 8 years. It's probably a lot of stuff you don't know about, and that would include all the reasons and evidence collected which supports those (current) conclusions.

And, the changing of those conclusions over time is a strength - one that dogmatic faith lacks.

Thanks for mentioning that you believe atheists have good intentions. Like theists I'm sure many do, and I think you do too friend.

By the way, evolution has nothing to do with atheism or theism - it's simply irrelevant to the matter, proving or disproving neither.

    Take care :)
    Sincerely,

Most of the statements he has made are similar to what he learned in Sunday school. And it seems he hasn't progressed much from there. It's because of people like Jake that there are so many people who don't require evidence before opening their mouths. This guy is a role model for stupidity. We can only hope that these types of people will eventually die off so we can progress into the future and not into the dark ages.

Aha! I’m starting to get it. Is this your argument?:
Mormons are wrong because they base their beliefs on ‘faith,’ whiles evangelical Christians need evidence that Mormons are right.
Atheists/agnostics are wrong because they don’t have faith and require evidence.
However, evangelical Christians are right because they have a faith that does not require any evidence (unlike those Mormons, Muslims and other groups with their allegedly divinely inspired books that are clearly wrong due to a lack of evidence).

All I know is that Christianity has been the cause of more deaths then all diseases combined. I think you could even throw in Natural Disasters. In the bible alone, "god" kills 2,391,421 people. Now add in all the wars since that have been fought. And whether you wanna believe it or not, the Iraq war is all about Christians vs. Muslims. Religion is a mental disorder... I find it perplexing how Christians will often quote The Bible and cite it as credible evidence. The Bible gone through so many different translations and changes that if there was one thing on Earth not to trust, it would be The Bible. Quoting The Bible to prove a point in science is like quoting The Origin of Species to prove a point in advanced metaphysics.
