American Idol Gives Back: To groups that support abortion!

Life Decisions International has taken the lead in making everyone aware that the TV Program called "American Idol" is (and apparently has in the past) aligning itself with pro-abortion groups.  They have reported a little know fact that among the groups benefiting this year's "Idol Gives Back" fund-raising campaign are Save the Children and the United Nations Foundation. "Idol Gives Back," which airs tonight, will feature several celebrities who will urge Americans to make a donation.

Save the Children has a working relationship with what it calls "prominent international organizations." Several of these groups are actively pro-abortion, including Better World Fund, Center for Reproductive Rights, Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Population Action International, and the U.S. Committee for UNICEF.

Several divisions of the United Nations have donated funds to Planned Parenthood and the body has wholeheartedly embraced its abortion and population control agenda.

"It is laudable that the people involved with 'American Idol' want to help the poor," said LDI President Douglas R. Scott, Jr. "But it is tragic that they would choose to do so through groups like the Save the Children and the United Nations Foundation. These groups have far too much deadly baggage."

While LDI had originally said that Simon Cowell of American Idol was/is the CEO of International Save the Children, it turns out that information is incorrect.  The current CEO is Jasmine Whitbread, who was appointed to the position just last month according to the LDI "Update".

Scott urges that "If you believe the plight of preborn children is as important as the plight of the poor, do not participate in 'Idol Gives Back,'" Scott urged. "We are caring people who want to do our part to help those less fortunate, but we will do so through organizations that do not view the killing of human beings as a 'solution' to poverty and other adult-created problems."

It is worth noting that "American Idol" recently supported a fund-raising campaign by Planned Parenthood of Los Angeles.

I am all for contraception in these underdeveloped countries. But abortion takes a human life. Many childless people all over the world would be glad to raise these babies.

Piercing a Childs skull and sucking out his or her brains so the child can be sucked out via a vaccuum, is not ethical, moral, acceptable or responsible in any way..

Hey guy: maybe consider changing your handle to "think not"? My abortion wasn't a "life," it was an embryo, and decades have gone by without my feeling the first bit of guilt. It was the right decision for me, and your are in possession of not one single fact with which to argue otherwise. Have a great day; I will!

You keep telling yourself that, Live Not. The more ignorant you remain of your wrongful acts, the better you'll sleep at night. Sounds like you're sleeping like a baby. Oh wait.

Maybe you ignoramuses should learn the difference between pro abortion and pro choice. If you don't like it, don't watch the show and don't support it.

How ironic, IFB. I neither watch the show NOR support it. Go figure. Besides, what difference is there between pro-murder and pro-allowing for murder? Not much.

There is no difference. If you are not pro life, the only other "choice" is pro abortion.

Slaveholders were "pro-choice," too. They didn't think everyone should own a slave. They just didn't want others to impose a different morality on them. Yet we still call them "pro-slavery." If slaveholders had come up with the "pro-choice" nonsense way back then, slavery might still be legal! People are even referring to the entire abortion issue as “the choice issue.” Virtually every issue involves a choice between at least two positions. Yet abortion is the only one that is thought of when someone describes themselves as “pro-choice.” The phrase was purposefully selected for public relations purposes; not reality. "Pro-abortion" doesn't imply that one thinks ever woman should get one any more than being pro-capital punishment means every person should be given it. “Pro-abortion” just means its legality is supported. ABORTION = DEATH. As the leader of Life Decisions International says on their website, “If abortion is the only thing we have to offer women facing an unplanned pregnanc

As the leader of Life Decisions International says on their website, “If abortion is the only thing we have to offer women facing an unplanned pregnancy, we are a very sad society indeed. We need to offer life-affirming and life-saving REAL solutions to the problems they encounter. And we can’t wait until every adult-created problem is solved before we stop the killing.”

Every person on here who supports abortions are nothing but hypocrites. They are the same people that will go and protest against capitol punishment to keep the scum of this world around but they would rather kill an innocent baby who hasn't had the chance at life.

what i want to know is where is the responsible adult using birth control.

If you already have 4 kids who go to bed hungry..why do so many keep having babies right in the USA.

where are the rights of those millions of children born into extreme poverty in the United States? All too often these children are neglected/ forgotten by those who would fight for their right to live while in they were in womb.

williams said: "I'm not going to tell other people what to do."

What he's really saying: "Hey! You there! Stabbing that guy on the street corner for his shoes! Yeah, you! Well, uh, I think what you're doing is TERRIBLE, but I'm not going to tell you what to do. Killing an innocent is your right as an American citizen."

And IFB, you call ME an ignoramus?
