I've been told that everything in my living room was created except for one thing . . . me.

Modern science tells me that everything I see in my living room here in Nashville was made by a creator. Well, modern science does make one exception.

I see a piano; modern science says that it was created by a creator (CBC). There is my couch, CBC. I see several books, CBC; a briefcase, CBC; the laptop I am using; CBC; an antique oil lamp; CBC; an original painting by Nashville artist, Melanie Jackson, CBC; an antique clock; CBC; and various other things: CBC. Modern science believes that none of these things came into existence by chance.

So what is the one exception that modern science makes? What is the one thing that I can see in my living room that modern science says was not made by a creator? That would be the most complicated, the most intricate, the most detailed, and the most complex object in the room -- me.

Modern science tells me that I was created by nothing more than time and chance (CBT&C). Yep. Here I am looking around and observing all these things; evaluating them and reasoning about them; and writing down my observations in English for you to read. And yet, modern science, with all its brilliance and pride, wants me to believe that I, with all my comprehension, consciousness, complexity, considerable intelligence, and capability to compose carefully crafted alliteration; just happened by chance.
