The airport workers are part of Unite—the same union that has called repeated cabin crew strikes at British Airways.
The union threatens further strikes at the airline in September but BA has pledged to operate all flights.
An average of over 180,000 passengers use Heathrow Airport each day and the airport, including most transatlantic flights to and from London.
