As the strike by British Airways cabin crew members settled into the second of three, five-day walkouts, the Unite cabin crew union announced plans for a new strike vote.
If approved by members, additional strikes could be scheduled in August.
The current strike dates includes 20 days of strikes, spread out over:
• May 18-22 (stopped by court injunction)
• May 24-28,
• May 30-June 3, and
• June 5-9.
British Airways has continued to operate a substantial portion of its flight schedule using non-striking workers and chartered aircraft.
Schedules and information can be found on the British Airways website and travelers should check for updates frequently.
