Iran seeks the arrest of Neda's doctor
Neda Agha-Soltan is the young Iranian woman who was killed during last week’s bloody confrontations in the streets of Teheran between the government and supporters of opposition presidential candidate Min Hossein-Musavi. Neda’s death was caught on a cellphone video that was seen throughout the world on the internet.
Arashe Hejazi is a physician. He treated Neda immediately after she was shot. He can be seen tending to her on the video.
Ismail Ahmadi-Moghaddam is Iran’s Chief of Police. According to him, Dr. Hejazi is under criminal investigation by the Ministry of Intelligence in connection with Neda’s death. According to the Police Chief, Dr. Hejazi was not providing the dying Neda with medical care, but staging a clever anti-government video.
The Ministry of Intelligence is investigating Dr. Hejazi for a crime called propaganda against the regime or disturbing the people’s mind.
Dr. Hejazi has fled Iran.

This is a familiar pattern among dictatorships: to try to divert attention away from crimes of the government with invented crimes and conspiracies by government opponents. The only question is whether there will be show trials, secret trials or no trials.
They keep blaming us for interfering, well we should now! No boots on ground, but we should start a shame campaign like what we are doing to Honduras!
Could you imagine if the terrorist threat to the world was brought down internally by its own people, no American lives spent, no nuclear threat!? We should be all over this!
