Not too long ago a new cookbook came out called Herbivoracious by Michael Natkin and published by Harvard Common Press located right here in Boston. Herbivoracious is the same name as Michael’s blog and the book has become...
It all started in 2005, when Brian Knowles made his first trip to Central America and fell in love with it at first sight and taste! He has been on a journey ever since to learn about Central American food and culture. Brian’s love for everything Central American has earned him the nickname Gringo Chapin. Brian is always in search of the best of Central America in the greater Boston area and quickly became the “go to” person for all things Central American. Whether he is eating at a family owned restaurant in East Boston, a festival in Jamaica Plain or a fabulous store selling everything you need to cook a flavorful meal, he will find it and share it. Brian is the editor in chief of The Gringo Chapin and can be reached on Twitter @thegringochapin or at bknowles67@verizon.net.
