Whipped Dreams: Cuffed and Spanked is a short 1-2 punch of straight eroticism! Both ladies know how to write an alpha male and boy are these males ALPHA!
In the first short story, Cuffed, Janie Flores is woken out of sleep from a disturbance, in which she realizes she has an intruder. Running into the bathroom, she quickly dials the police. She is surprised that the officer she seen in the store a couple of days ago is the one who comes to the rescue.
Officer Jackson Ryan has been intrigued ever since he saw her. While waiting for her statement, he stumbles across some books of hers that lets him know that she is more than she seems.
Jackson is the type of male most women wants whether they think so or not and Laura writes this male to perfection. When the two come together in the age old dance of love, the sparks fly and the bed shakes with the intense emotions felt by both!
For the second half of the book, Shara Azod’s Spanked, is fraught with erotic tension from the first sentence on.
Shelby has found a new man in her life, a Dom, like her best friend Daire. But when she asks him for her help in the scene, Daire finally snaps and hauls Shelby to him in an unbreakable embrace.
These two have been friends since college and Daire sensing an innocence around Shelby , decides to hold off from showing her how he feels. As they come together, he realizes he made the mistake of not showing his true feeling from right up front.
Daire is a Viking male in modern times, going after what he wants. What woman wouldn’t want such an enticing package?
These women write some of the best alpha males around! They’re aggressive, strong, and when it comes to their women, they will do anything to have her as well as protect her!
Bottom line, this gets a rousing 5! For such a short read, the characters are fully developed and the dialogue, superb. The writing is tight and concise, and the sex scenes are scorching hot! Do not let this one pass you by.
