Mark Ford is a Wetland Ecologist with a BS and MS from Eastern Michigan University and a Ph.D. from Louisiana State University. Dr. Ford has been a researcher at McNeese State University as the Director of the MSU Wetlands Research Station, the University of New Orleans and Louisiana State University. Dr. Ford has also held research positions at the National Wetlands Research Center -USGS, the Great Lakes Science Center-USGS and the Great Lakes Environmental Research Laboratory-NOAA. Dr. Ford worked as an advocate for coastal restoration with the Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana, including tenure as the Executive Director.
